Peppers for Sinus Health?

For the last 6 months I have been trying to learn as much as I can on sinus health and how it affects our well-being. Nothing shocked me more on how much crushed red chili peppers improved my sinus health. Something that I was doing for my stomach helped also my sinuses. How can this be? Well peppers are high in beta carotene, an antioxidant which is converted into vitamin A.  We now know that vitamin A helps fight infections.  Recent research shows that vitamin A prevents germs from penetrating the nasal passages, keeping the mucous membrane strong. When you combine crushed red chili peppers with organic cranberries it becomes something that helps  also with acid reflux and H.pylori. Combine both ingredients and bring water to a boil and cover. Let it seep for 10 minutes and drink. Some people drink a little after they eat and yet there are others that have it all day long. I like the idea of doing this for a few weeks and stopping.  Do it a few times a year. One day we are going to do more discoveries on different peppers and their healing properties. It also stimulates digestion and helps with absorption of food. When red chili peppers are crushed it becomes cayenne pepper.
